Disneyland Resort is between celebrations: the 70th wrapped up in August, the holidays start November 13, and D23 in August set the plan for the next few years. Here's what matters for a visit, as of late October 2026.

This fall

  • Indiana Jones Adventure reopened on October 23 after a maintenance closure that began in September.
  • it's a small world closes October 30 for its holiday makeover and reopens as it's a small world Holiday with the season.
  • Haunted Mansion Holiday turns 25 this year, with anniversary merchandise.

The holidays

The season runs November 13, 2026 to January 6, 2027, with the Christmas Fantasy Parade, the Believe... In Holiday Magic fireworks and World of Color - Season of Light. Disney Viva Navidad moves to Hollywood Land this year, because Coco construction has taken over its usual spot.

Coming back in 2027

Disney announced at D23 that Remember... Dreams Come True fireworks and the original World of Color return in February 2027, and the Magic Happens parade returns in summer 2027.

Being built

  • Avengers Campus expands in 2028 with Avengers Infinity Defense, a large indoor ride, and Stark Flight Lab.
  • A Coco boat ride is under construction at Disney California Adventure, with no opening date yet.
  • A reimagined Tomorrowland is now planned before the Avatar area, so Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! stays open for now.
  • Autopia switches to electric cars in early 2027.
  • The Eastern Gateway, a big new parking garage and transportation hub east of Harbor Boulevard, broke ground August 24.

Downtown Disney

Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby and a permanent Earl of Sandwich opened in July. Porto's Bakery & Cafe, Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, and Pearl's Roadside BBQ are under construction, with no dates.

For Magic Key holders and ticket buyers

Since October 7, a missed park reservation simply expires: no more strikes. Middle-tier one-day tickets went up $5 on October 6; Magic Key prices stayed the same.
